Welcome to Dot's Dog Training and Pet Services. Our goal is to provide you with the fundamental tools in which the leash isn't the only thing connecting you to your dog. We strive to help you improve the relationship with your dog. One based on love and respect not fear and stress. A relationship in which you're getting willing compliance, as opposed to just obedience. The methods used are modern, scientifically-based, humane, and fun!

What We Do

We offer private in-home dog training and behavior modification sessions in Manhattan, and parts of the Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn.

Training is done by Dorotea Rivera, CPDT who is:

• A Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).  

• A professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT)

• Certified in Pet CPR & First Aid.
• Insured.
• Bilingual: English - Spanish
